Functions
- As requested by the Academic & Student Affairs Council, regularly review and recommend revisions or updates to the administrative rules related to adjunct staffing.
- Determine and prioritize appropriate data needs and work with data arms of the college to develop regular reports on adjunct faculty staffing.
- Regularly review data and generate and disseminate findings from reports to improve transparency and fairness in adjunct staffing processes.
- Consider ad hoc data requests related to adjunct faculty staffing that are received by the committee to determine the need for the data.
- Periodically review adjunct staffing technology to ensure it is adequate to the staffing needs as well as the related reporting needs of the college.
- Make recommendations related to adjunct faculty staffing technology that support the college’s expectations for fairness and transparency.
- Serve as a resource as needed to help clarify intent and appropriate implementation of adjunct staffing rules.
- Serve as a resource for adjunct faculty to facilitate understanding of adjunct staffing rules, guidelines, and processes.
As needed and appropriate, committee recommendations are forwarded to the Academic & Student Affairs Council for action.
Meeting Schedule and Frequency
Meets virtually, twice a semester, day of week and time TBD

Co-chairs: One academic affairs dean and one department chair (appointed by the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs)
Assistant: Dean’s senior administrative assistant
Members serve 1-year terms and can be reappointed up to three consecutive years.
