2024 was a historic year for ACC with the launch of the Theory of Change initiative. Below are a few noteworthy highlights from the work this year. For a more detailed list, see our January 2025 edition of the Future Focus newsletter.
March:
- Data Summit Held: The first all-college Data Summit was held to dive deeply into challenges and opportunities.
April:
- Design Team Nominations Held: Collegewide nominations were held to engage broad participation.
June:
- Design Team Members Selected: Design team members were chosen as a collaboration of the Design Team Co-Chairs and the ToC Tri-chairs.
August:
- Development Teams Seated: Leaders and key members of the four development teams were identified.
September:
- Design Team Kickoff Event: The Design Teams were brought together to lay a foundation for their work.
October:
- Theory of Change Institute Launched: The selected members of the ToC Institute attended a celebratory kick-off event.
November:
- Phase 1 and Phase 2 Design Team Working Learners Hired: Students were hired as hourlies to serve as members of design teams. Ten began immediately and six more were hired to begin in the spring.
