As the season of gratitude fills the air, I find myself reflecting on the incredible people who make up our college community. This Theory of Change journey we’re on is nothing short of transformational, and it’s thanks to all of you that we’re moving forward with courage, creativity, and heart.
To our fearless co-chairs—thank you for stepping out of your comfort zones and leading our design teams with such passion and purpose. Your willingness to embrace this work and guide others is inspiring, and I’m in awe of your dedication.
To the design team members, development team, steering committee, and our Theory of Change Institute participants—your continuous engagement, thoughtful contributions, and belief in what we’re building together fuel this effort. You’ve shown how powerful collaboration can be when it’s rooted in shared goals and mutual respect.
To our entire college and the Austin community—thank you for your bravery in going on this ride with us. Change is never easy, but your voices, feedback, and willingness to dream alongside us are shaping this work in ways that are meaningful and impactful. You’ve shown what it means to be part of a community that truly values innovation and progress.
Finally, a heartfelt thank-you to our provost and chancellor for not only supporting this project but for allowing me to have a front-row seat to witness the incredible talent and heart of this institution in action. It’s a privilege I do not take lightly.
As we move through this process, I am more certain than ever that together, we are capable of creating something extraordinary. Thank you for being part of this journey, for believing in our shared vision, and for contributing to a brighter future.
