Austin Community College District (ACC) celebrates more than 100 new international students representing 52 countries this fall! These new students came out for a special, day-long orientation to learn more about how to navigate college and the visa process through events including:
- Getting started as an international student at ACC.
- Exploring Austin and discovering community services.
- Navigating immigration and maintaining student status.
- Tapping into ACC’s support services.
- Diving into academics and course enrollment.
- Ensuring safety and security on and around campus (shoutout to campus police).
- Exploring student life and ACC’s awesome extracurricular events.
- Unlocking resources in the learning labs and Accelerator.
The college now has more than 250 international students from countries including Nepal, South Korea, and Vietnam. Welcome to ACC, Riverbats!
