ACC is now hiring a Student Affairs Help Desk Specialist to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about the college’s services and procedures.
This is a fully remote position that interacts with customers in a call center environment. Working hours are assigned within the college’s regular hours of operation of Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Help Desk Specialist will receive, record, and identify requests via phone, email, and web from ACC students, faculty, and staff and coordinate and dispatch work requests. The person hired will also utilize problem and change management processes to perform root cause analysis and make recommendations to eliminate the root cause.
The ideal candidate will know how to use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software and be familiar with help desk policies, standards, and protocols.
A high school diploma or educational equivalent and one year of related work experience are required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
