Explore new approaches to support student success! Mini Development Day (Mini Dev Day) invites Austin Community College (ACC) faculty and staff to explore practical ways to support students throughout their educational journey, from first credit to final credential.
Mini Dev Day will kick off with an in-person mixer on Thursday, October 22, followed by a day of collaboration, conversation, and learning online on Friday, October 23, through the Faculty Growth Series (FGS): The Connected Classroom through Belonging, Purpose, and Connection (BPC), Universal Design for Learning and Accessibility (UDLA), and Artificial Intelligence Literacy and Fluency (AILF).

Date: Friday, October 23
Time: Programming runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Connect With Colleagues at the Mini Dev Day Mixer
Highland Campus, Room TBD | Thursday, October 22 | 4-6 p.m.
Kick off Mini Dev Day with an in-person mixer the evening before! Hosted in partnership with the Office of Belonging & Purpose, Joyful Employee Mixers (JEM), and the Faculty Center for Learning Innovation, the mixer will offer opportunities to connect with colleagues, enjoy food and music, and participate in activities inspired by this year’s themes and ACC’s student experience.
Create a “Momentum” keychain, share appreciation with colleagues, write affirmations for ACC students, and join in a collaborative bingo game with trivia throughout the evening. Attendance at Mini Dev Day is not required to attend the Mixer.
