ACC’s ACCelerated Learning Support offers free resources to help students prepare for exams, strengthen skills, practice course material, and make the most of their time at ACC. As staff, you play an important role in encouraging students to explore academic support options early as we approach midterms and finals.
Here are four options below to help students get the support they need:
Tutoring at the Learning Lab
Students can get free tutoring online or in person at a Learning Lab on every ACC campus. They can work with a tutor on challenging concepts, assignments, exam prep, and more.

Some courses offer Embedded Tutors who provide course-specific support throughout the semester.

Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) offers free, peer-led study sessions for select challenging courses. These sessions allow students to review course material, prepare for exams, practice skills, and learn alongside their classmates.
