What are we doing?
As we transition from designing the Theory of Change to putting it into practice across ACC, everyone has a role to play in shaping how these institutional priorities transform our daily work and student experience. Student success is created by thousands of individual decisions that become transformational when we align them around a shared purpose.

How will we know if it’s working?
Across ACC, helpers and teachers are working every day to make the student experience better. We’re redesigning, improving, and trying new approaches. But there’s one question we have to be able to answer: Is it working? That’s the purpose of the Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Report Card.

Discover the 9 key metrics and 26 actions shaping our institutional story through 2030. We’ll explore what it means to be effective by knowing whether our work is making a difference, aligned by seeing how that work connects across ACC, and impactful by using what we learn to improve the student experience and advance student success.

What tools can help us? 
Get a sneak peek into how cutting-edge artificial intelligence tools can help scale our efforts and go beyond what we can accomplish today. You’ll learn about the 5 principles for using AI at ACC, share your feedback in a listening session, and participate in conversations to shape the College’s first-ever AI policy.

Know Before You Go

  • Bat Buck for Lunch: When you arrive, you’ll be greeted at the entrance by event staff (in bright gold T-shirts) who will provide you with a color-coded Bat Buck. This is your meal ticket, so hold on to it. The color indicates your assigned watch party zone. There are several spread out across Highland Campus in Buildings 1000, 2000, and 4000. Event staff can help you find your zone.
  • Employee Resource Fair: Start your day by grabbing a light continental breakfast, available in both Buildings 1000 and 2000, while exploring interactive booths, College tools, and services across the district. The resource fair will resume during the lunch break.
  • Food Truck Alley: Head to the Building 1000 East Lot to enjoy lunch from local favorites, including street tacos from TacoMan 512, burgers from P. Terry’s, Jags BBQ, fresh boxed lunches from Jason’s Deli, Chick-fil-A, and Arpeggio Grill, and more. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available.
  • ACC Swag Swap: Dig through your closet for vintage, laundered ACC t-shirts and donate them by September 20 via Intercampus Mail to the ACC Surplus Free Store or drop them off at Building 4000 (Room 2205). Then, stop by the Vintage Shirt Table at the Resource Fair on event day to trade for a new favorite!
  • Photo Booths: Stop by one of the customized photo booths to snap some photos. Make sure you share your GA spirit on our Padlet wall at austincc.edu/generalassembly. 
  • Getting Here & Free Transit: Parking is free across Highland Campus. Want to skip driving altogether? Ride CapMetro for FREE using your Digital Green Pass, or connect with colleagues through the ACC Carpool Portal.
