To better serve our campus community and ensure a clear, consistent experience for our students, the Office of College Relations & Marketing (OCRM) and the Student Affairs Communications & Change Strategy (SA Comms) teams collaborated to launch a single, centralized service request form.

The collaboration comes after a recent student communication audit conducted by the Enterprise Project Management Office, which highlighted an opportunity to refine how messaging is coordinated across the College. Previously, separate request forms, intake systems, and tracking boards across OCRM and SA Comms often led to duplicated efforts, overlapping student messages, and confusion among faculty and staff about where to direct support requests.

By moving to this new process, the College is simplifying how marketing and communication requests are submitted, reviewed, and managed:

  • Removes the Guesswork: Faculty and staff now use a single request form for all student communication and marketing needs.
  • Unified Assessment: Requests are automatically routed to a shared workspace, where OCRM and SA Comms collaboratively review and prioritize incoming submissions during joint weekly intake meetings.
  • Shared Timelines & Standards: The collaborative approach ensures projects are divided efficiently and strategically, reducing redundant messaging sent to students.

The new form and collaborative intake process launched in July.

Submitting a Request

Whether you need support for an upcoming student initiative, event promotion, or communication campaign, visit our updated service request page to submit your details

The joint team will review your submission during weekly intake meetings on Friday mornings and direct it to the appropriate team for execution.

Employees are encouraged to submit their requests as soon as possible — ideally, 6 to 8 weeks in advance — as they are reviewed in the order they are received.
