General Assembly is more than an event — it’s our ACC homecoming. Show your school pride on Friday, September 26, 2025, when our entire College community comes together at Highland Campus (HLC) and online for a day full of connection, celebration, and inspiration. 

This year’s event comes at a pivotal time for the College, with work on our Theory of Change moving fast and furious. Kicking off with employee recognitions, a powerful keynote on “Leading with Love,” and the premiere of our new General Assembly video, the morning builds to an important conversation: the State of the College Address with Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart.

There will also be opportunities to connect with colleagues and learn more about different topics during the Resource Fair and afternoon breakout sessions. This is a day you won’t want to miss!

Getting There: Parking & Rideshares

  • Parking: Free. Review the Highland Campus Map to plan for parking.
  • Carpooling: Do you need a ride to General Assembly? Or are you able to be a driver? Sign up on the ACC Carpool App.
  • Public Transportation: ACC employees ride CapMetro for FREE with a Digital Green Pass.
  • Rideshare: Drop-off is outside Highland Campus Buildings 2000 and 4000 on Wilhelmina Delco Drive. Look for signs and colorful balloons.

Morning Watch Parties

Start the day in a lively small-group setting. As you enter, event staff will hand you a color-coded Bat Buck (meal ticket) that shows the color of your assigned watch party. Head to your color-coded space in Highland Campus Buildings 1000 or 2000, experience the keynote together, and spark cross-campus conversations. Volunteers in bright gold shirts will be nearby to help guide you.

Each watch party room will include nametags to help you get to know your colleagues. Please remember to bring your ACC employee ID badge for security purposes.

Afternoon Breakout Sessions

In the afternoon, join breakout sessions to explore topics that matter most, connect with colleagues, and leave with fresh ideas to bring back to your work. Room locations and Zoom links for individual sessions will be sent directly to attendees via Google Calendar invitations for easy access. Virtual sessions are still open for registration. 

Food & Drink

For in-person attendees, a light breakfast will be served, including coffee. During lunch, ACC will be providing lunch via food vendors. Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options will be available for meals. Please bring a reusable cup for coffee in the morning and water throughout the day.
