General Assembly returns on Friday, September 26, 2025, and we invite Austin Community College District (ACC) faculty and staff to lead the conversation through engaging afternoon breakout sessions, held both in person at the Highland Campus and online.
This year’s theme, “Building a Culture of Love…Together,” centers on inspiration, connection, and love, and we’re seeking breakout session proposals that feature original ideas, meaningful engagement, and purposeful alignment with the College’s values.
Present a Breakout Session
General Assembly 2025 will feature two 50-minute afternoon breakout blocks. Sessions can be hosted in person at Highland Campus or online via Zoom and should be:
- Fresh and innovative
- Engaging and interactive
- Well-crafted and organized
- Led by subject matter experts
- Aligned with our shared mission and values

Submit your proposal by Monday, June 30, 2025, using the application form.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance by Monday, July 28. The application includes tips for developing your session, evaluation criteria, and helpful resources. Additional event details, such as parking, room assignments, AV resources, and logistics, will be shared as the event approaches.
