Austin Community College (ACC) invites staff, faculty, students, and the community to a weeklong series of events for Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (THRT) week, Tuesday, January 21, through Friday, January 24, at ACC Highland Campus, Building 4000. 

The theme this 2025 is “I Made It,” which will center introspection on participants’ journeys to highlight self-growth through creativity and reflection.

Tuesday, January 21 | Opening Circle: Moments of Meaning | 12:30 p.m. 

A facilitated circle event where participants share personal stories of meaning and growth. Guided prompts and questions are provided to encourage reflection and the power of sharing in community.

Wednesday, January 22 | Workshop: Threads of Transformation | 4:00 p.m. 

An art session for participants to create works reflecting their journeys and achievements using various expressions like painting, writing, and collage to promote self-reflection and creativity.

Thursday, January 23 | Community Networking: Building Bridges | 12:30 p.m. 

This dynamic networking event is an opportunity to connect with professionals and community members to build meaningful relationships that drive your success!  

Friday, January 24 | Closing Celebration: I Made It – Pathways and Purpose | 12:30 p.m. 

Participants reflect on their journey and celebrate their growth. There will be a collaborative art project and treats to enjoy and share in fellowship.
