Austin Community College District (ACC) is encouraging students to prepare for the 2025-2026 financial aid season as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) become available. This year, applications are open for both on Sunday, December 1.

Students are urged to submit their applications as early as possible. Financial aid funds, including grants, scholarships, and work-study opportunities, are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Early submission ensures better access to these resources.

ACC’s Financial Aid Office provides a range of services to support students through the application process. Advisors are available to help students understand eligibility requirements, navigate changes to the FAFSA process, and ensure applications are completed accurately.

In addition to FAFSA and TASFA assistance, ACC offers other financial aid options, such as institutional scholarships, grants, and work-study programs, to help make college more affordable.
