Austin Community College District (ACC) works to address food insecurity of the student population. ACC’s Social Support Resource Development partners with the City of Austin and Central Texas Food Bank to pilot new ways to get food directly to ACC students, beginning with initiatives at the ACC Riverside Campus.
FM2: Free Meal and Farmers Market and Groceries-to-Go is a FREE farmers market open to ACC students. You can visit the market in the awning between buildings A and G at Riverside Campus. The market is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Students can get groceries, a hot meal, and find other helpful ACC resources like Student Life, Financial Aid, Snap Enrollment, and more.
FM2: Free Meal and Farmers Market Groceries-to-Go will also be available in self-serve kiosks. Students can walk up, scan the QR code to sign in, and take what they need. The kiosks are located at Riverside Campus in the Frank Squires Building and at El Centro in Building G. The kiosks will be open during regular campus operating hours.
