Hundreds of new ACC students will get an exclusive orientation experience at ACC’s inaugural Big Day Orientation event. Student Affairs launched this new orientation session format to offer an experience similar to that of a four-year institution.

ACC’s Orientation team is gearing up for the first event on Friday, August 11, at the Highland Campus, which has already reached its registration capacity of 250 students.

“Above all, we are committed to showing students that when they chose ACC, they chose wisely,” says Karl Meyer, ACC Orientation manager.

The event will feature an interactive tour of the Highland Campus, including our state-of-the-art facilities like the Make It Center and the Impact Lab as well as presentations by Financial Aid, Student Life, and more.

Students attending this special event will:

  • Get direct access to ACC staff,
  • Learn about the resources available to all Riverbats,
  • Explore ways to help pay for college,
  • Meet fellow Riverbats, and
  • Leave feeling a sense of belonging at ACC.

This event will serve as the pilot for future Big Day Orientation sessions.
