ACC’s Latino/Latin American Studies Center, El Centro, launched a new book club in spring 2023. The El Centro Book Club will feature book selections that highlight the Latinx/e experience and provide those books to eligible students and employees for free.
Students, faculty, and staff are eligible for a free copy of the book, while supplies last, when they sign up for the book club.
The first book for the semester is “Into the Beautiful North” by Luis Alberto Urrea. The inaugural book club meeting is 1 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at El Centro on the Riverside Campus.
