Attending school and raising children can be challenging. ACC offers child care support to help our students with children stay on track. Current ACC students may now enroll their kids, ages 2 to 10, in the college’s Evening Care Program.
The program is offered at Eastview Campus for $10 per night. There are reduced fees for families who qualify.
To qualify for Evening Care, parents must be enrolled in an ACC class on the evenings that their child(ren) attends. Parents taking online classes must remain on the Eastview Campus.
Children are cared for by background-checked teachers with experience and education in child
care. The program runs Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and includes the following:
- Both indoor and outdoor activities offering a variety of hands-on learning opportunities.
- Activities such as homework help, board games, cooking, and family-style snack time are designed to imitate the family setting.
- An opportunity to practice and learn life skills such as hand washing and preparing food.
Parents are welcome to drop off and pick up their children at any time during the hours of operation based on their class schedule.

The college also offers vouchers, scholarships, and grants to help students cover the costs of child care.
