New ACC About Town goes behind the scenes at ACL taping

In the latest episode of ACCTV’s “ACC About Town,” host Sebastian Lopez takes us behind the scenes of an Austin City Limits taping with Afro-Cuban funk sensation Cimafunk.

Sebastian, an ACC Music Business Performance Technology student, takes us on a tour of ACL Live at The Moody Theater to learn how the magic of the iconic Austin PBS and LickonaVision show happens. Over the course of a day, we get to see how the artist, band, producers, and crew work together to put on a spectacular show.

Austin PBS has moved its production facilities and offices to ACC Highland Campus, Building 3000, and this fall will bring paid internships and enhanced job training to the college’s arts, digital media, and communications students. Austin City Limits tapings will continue to be held at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
