Austin Community College District (ACC) is gearing up to host its very first American Cancer Society Relay for Life event in late spring 2027. This campuswide event will bring together faculty, staff, students, and community members to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and raise funds for lifesaving research and patient support services.

To make this event a success, we are forming a new ACC Volunteer Committee—and we need your energy, passion, and skills to help lay the foundation!

Join a Committee

Bringing Relay for Life to campus is a collaborative, collegewide effort. We are seeking ACC employee volunteers to serve across several subcommittees that will support event logistics, team recruitment, marketing, and participant experience.

Looking for a leadership opportunity? Each committee needs a Committee Lead or Co-Lead to help guide their team and keep planning on track.

Whether you have a few hours to lend or want to take on a lead role, there is a spot for you on the team. We invite you to an upcoming information session where you can learn more about each of the committees and ask questions before committing.
