ACC faculty and staff are invited to attend an upcoming professional development session, ACC Student Care Resources: Clarifying Roles, Responsibilities, and Referral Pathways.

Hosted jointly by Student Rights and Responsibilities, Equal Opportunity Compliance, C.A.R.E. Network Services (Basic Needs Systems, Mental Health Counseling Services, and Student Accessibility Services), and ACC Police, this session will help employees confidently navigate campus support systems and foster a unified culture of care across the College.

During this session, participants will:

  • Gain a clearer understanding of the services, responsibilities, and processes of each participating office.
  • Learn when and how to refer students and concerns to the appropriate department.
  • Explore strategies for promoting coordinated, student-centered responses across the College.
  • Increase confidence in navigating student concerns and connecting students with the right resources.
