If you are one of the many faculty and staff who use ResourceSpace to find College marketing photographs and resources—like fonts, logos, and graphics—we have exciting news. On Thursday, July 9, our digital asset management system is getting a sleek new update. Here is everything you need to know about what’s changing and what’s staying the same.

A Fresh, Clean Facelift

When you log in after July 9, you will notice that the interface looks different. While the core tools you rely on are staying the same, the look and feel will refresh.

The changes are mainly visual and are designed to make your experience better. Here is what you can look forward to:

  • Less Clutter: A streamlined design that lets the photos and resources take center stage.
  • Easier to Use: Intuitive visual tweaks to help you find exactly what you need, faster.
  • Better Accessibility: A modern layout fully aligned with current web accessibility standards, ensuring a great experience for all users.

The Specifics

  • Search: The search bar will move into the header at the top of the page, and your search results will have a cleaner layout that makes it easier to select assets and add them to collections.
  • Collection Bar: The collection bar will no longer stay open across the bottom of the page. Instead, users can open collection tools from a button in the bottom-left corner.
  • Dashboard: The dashboard and featured collections will have an updated layout with a wider banner area and cleaner category and collection tiles.

Business as Usual (No Downtime!)

Although ResourceSpace will look different, the basic functions will remain the same, and you won’t lose access to your favorite campus photos or marketing materials.

ResourceSpace will remain fully available during the update. You can keep searching, downloading, and requesting approved assets. Any existing collections, permissions, and saved content you have in your account will remain in place.

No action is needed from users. All the updates will happen automatically behind the scenes.
