Career & Life Design Services (formerly Career Services) is hosting a series of events in recognition of National Student Employment Week focused on helping students explore career pathways, build connections, and gain confidence.

The highlight event is the All Majors Job Fair. This event provides students across all programs of study the opportunity to connect directly with local employers and learn about available positions.

All Majors Job Fair
Date: Wednesday, April 15
Time: 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
Location: Highland Campus, Social Staircase

General Studies majors are invited to attend the Design Your Future Pathways: Career Exploration event earlier that day. This event connects students with advisors, transfer services, career specialists, and employers to help them identify and move toward a more focused academic and career path.

Design Your Future Pathways: Career Exploration
Date: Wednesday, April 15
Time: 10–10:45 a.m.
Location: ACC Highland Campus, Make It Center

Students are encouraged to bring resumes and engage with employers. They may also schedule appointments with a Career Specialist in advance for resume support and elevator pitch preparation.

Faculty and staff play an important role in promoting these opportunities. Encouraging participation through class announcements, Canvas, or advising conversations can significantly impact student engagement and success.
