The Riverbat community showed up in record numbers to cheer on our student-athletes as they dominated the court in both basketball and volleyball in March. The sea of purple and the roar of the crowd at Manor High School and Manor Rise Academy provided the ultimate “home-court” advantage.
Hoops Sweep: Both the Women’s and Men’s basketball teams secured decisive victories against St. Edward’s University and Trinity University intramural teams on Wednesday, March 4. Both Riverbat teams pulled off narrow wins, including overtime, which kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer.
Volleyball Dominance: The momentum continued on Thursday, March 5, as the Women’s Volleyball team took down St. Philips College from San Antonio. They secured a clean 3-out-of-5 game sweep.
Everyone who came out received a Riverbat Rally towel and the chance to win prizes.
