Get ready for an evening of hands-on science and stargazing. Austin Community College District (ACC) invites students, families, and the Central Texas community to ACC Space Night at the Round Rock Campus.
Date: Friday, March 27
Time: 4–9:30 p.m.
Location: ACC Round Rock Campus
The event begins with daytime solar viewing, where guests can safely observe sunspots and learn more about our closest star. Throughout the evening, ACC’s Honors Astronomy & Observational Sciences (HAOS) teams will host family-friendly experiments and interactive activities.
Attendees can also enjoy an Astronomy Club presentation and a science talk with ACC professors.
After 8 p.m., weather permitting, guests will have the opportunity to view the night sky through powerful 11-inch telescopes, including a closer look at planets and other celestial objects. Astronomy faculty and volunteers will be available throughout the event to guide observations and answer questions.
This event is free and open to the public.
