Austin Community College District (ACC) invites students to share their ideas, discoveries, and creative work at the 2026 Student Research Symposium. The event brings together students from across the College to present research and class projects while exploring topics from a wide range of academic disciplines.

The symposium is open to all current ACC students. Participants may present individually or as part of a team, and faculty members are also encouraged to nominate outstanding student projects.

Students can present their work in several ways:

  • Oral presentations with a Q&A session
  • Poster presentations highlighting research visually
  • Multimedia presentations featuring video, digital projects, or interactive work

To apply, students should submit a 150–200-word abstract describing their project, including the research question, methods, findings, and significance. Applicants will also select their preferred presentation format during the submission process.

The application deadline is Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Students will be notified of acceptance on Monday, April 6, 2026.

The ACC Student Research Symposium will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the ACC Highland Campus.
