Austin Community College District (ACC) hosted the Austin Infrastructure Academy Career Expo at ACC Highland on Wednesday, February 4. The expo—hosted in collaboration with Workforce Solutions Capital Area—focused on jobs in transportation, construction, and skilled trades.
Job seekers had the opportunity to engage directly with local infrastructure-related employers, access workforce resources, and participate in on-the-spot interviews.
In addition to immediate hiring opportunities, the event highlighted the educational pathways available to support career advancement. Attendees learned about ACC programs designed to equip them with the certifications and skills necessary to meet regional workforce demands, including the Austin Infrastructure Academy.
By aligning educational resources with industry needs, ACC and partners aim to support Central Texas’ long-term economic growth and prepare the community for the future of infrastructure.
