February is Black History Month. In recognition of this year’s national theme, “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” Austin Community College District (ACC) is hosting a series of free events throughout February across multiple campuses and online.

The theme marks 100 years of organized efforts to preserve and celebrate Black history, highlighting how commemoration, education, and community connection continue to shape cultural understanding today. ACC’s monthlong programming invites students, employees, and community members alike to learn, engage, and celebrate together.

Events range from art exhibitions and cultural celebrations to panel discussions and conversations centered on history, wellness, and belonging.
