Austin Community College District (ACC) is putting the finishing touches on the Round Rock Campus Student Support Center, a project funded through the College’s Maintenance and Operations Bond. As of early October, construction is approximately 75% complete, with substantial completion expected in late October or early November.

Phase 2 of the project is in its final stretch. All interior wall construction is complete, and walls have been taped, floated, and are being painted. Above-ceiling inspections have been conducted and passed, with minor corrections underway before the final installation of the ceiling grid.

Floor finishes are scheduled for mid-October, including ceramic tile in public areas, carpet tile in office spaces, and luxury vinyl tile in support, storage, and wet areas.

Once finished, the Student Support Center will provide modern, functional spaces to enhance services for students. The space is bringing together services like the Welcome Center, Career Center, Veterans Affairs, Advising, and Admissions in one easy-to-access location.
