Construction is now halfway complete on the new Student Support Center at Austin Community College District’s (ACC) Round Rock Campus. The project will centralize and expand key student services, including a new Welcome Center, Career Center, Admissions, Veterans Affairs, and Advising.

As of mid-July, crews completed all interior demolition and installed wall framing throughout the space. Drywall installation has begun in preparation for city inspections later this month. Work also is underway on in-wall electrical and IT infrastructure, as well as overhead HVAC systems.

On the exterior of Building 1000, concrete work is progressing on both the north and south sides. A new sidewalk is being formed for a secondary exit, and piers are being drilled for a new structural sidewalk to address drainage challenges near the south porch.

Renovations started in May 2024.
