Austin Community College District (ACC) is now enrolling for its Digital Fluency Microcredentials program for fall 2025. The program offers short, self-paced online courses that teach in-demand digital and professional skills at no cost to current ACC students, faculty, and staff.

Two sessions will be available during the fall semester, which begins Monday, September 8. Registration closes for the first session on Wednesday, September 3, and for the second session on Wednesday, October 15. By fall, the College will offer a total of 16 different microcredentials.

The courses are designed to take approximately five weeks or less to complete and require an average time commitment of 26 hours. Each course is delivered online and is self-paced. Topics include:

  • Spreadsheets
  • Presentation Software
  • Advanced PowerPoint
  • Photoshop for Web
  • Web Builder
  • HTML/CSS
  • Web Analytics
  • Data Management
  • Data Analytics
  • Interactive Media
  • Social Media
  • Project Management
  • Systems Thinking
  • Problem Solving with A.I.

The microcredentials are developed to meet current workforce needs and support students in building job-ready skills. Some microcredentials are stackable and can be combined into for-credit microcertificates.
