April is Autism Acceptance Month, a time to celebrate neurodiversity and champion the experiences and identities of autistic individuals. Austin Community College District (ACC) recognizes the month through a series of events and resources.

“Every student deserves to feel like they belong—because they do. We put students first—and that means recognizing and supporting the diverse ways they learn, connect, and experience the world,” says ACC Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart. “Autism Acceptance Month is one example of how we create a culture where students are empowered, supported, and celebrated for who they are.”

Month Highlights
