Austin Community College District (ACC) has canceled the previously scheduled ACC Star Party on Friday, December 13, at Round Rock Campus (4400 College Park Dr.) due to poor weather conditions.
The College’s Star Parties are free events that feature science talks with ACC faculty and a viewing of the planets and stars. Participants also have opportunities to look through high-powered telescopes and ask our Astronomy professors questions.
The party scheduled for Friday, December 13, was expected to begin at 6 p.m. However, inclement weather and poor viewing conditions forced faculty to cancel the December event. More events are expected in the spring semester.
