Austin Community College (ACC) is excited to announce upcoming events for National Apprenticeship Week, November 17-23, 2024.

National Apprenticeship Week is a nationwide celebration in which employers; industry representatives; labor organizations; community-based organizations; workforce partners; educational institutions; and federal, state, and local government agencies host events. These events showcase the successes and value of Registered Apprenticeships, which help strengthen our economy by developing a highly skilled workforce to meet industry needs, creating pathways for career seekers to catapult into good jobs, and advancing racial and gender equity.

Encourage students you know to join ACC for a week of workshops and presentations designed to highlight the benefits of apprenticeships.

Students can engage with National Apprenticeship Week virtually by sharing their apprenticeship story with the Department of Labor for a chance to receive a gift card. The links below provide instructions for how to submit their story:

If a student completes any of the three activities and emails [email protected] a copy of their completed submission, name, ACC student ID number, and best contact information, they’ll be considered to receive a gift card from ACC. Submission must be accepted by the Department of Labor to be considered for the gift card from ACC.
