Now is the time for students to prepare for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). Austin Community College District (ACC) is stepping in to assist students in navigating the 2025-2026 school year.
The FAFSA will open later than usual on December 1, 2024.
ACC urges students to apply as early as possible once applications open in December. Early submission increases your chances of receiving funds, as financial aid funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The College also offers various options to help students pay for college. Along with FAFSA and TASFA assistance, ACC provides scholarships, grants, and work-study opportunities to eligible students.
