Austin Community College District’s (ACC) Elgin Campus hosts a community celebration full of fun activities, local flavors, and educational experiences for attendees of all ages.
Elgin Fall Festival

Location: ACC Elgin Campus, 1501 US-290, Elgin
The event brings together ACC’s Culinary Arts, Agriculture, Welding, and Veterinary Technology departments to showcase their programs and engage with the community. Representatives from the City of Elgin and local businesses will also host booths, offering a glimpse into the Elgin community and its offerings.
Activities and Attractions
The lineup includes various family-friendly activities and demonstrations that celebrate local talent and skills. Guests can enjoy:
- Jam and pickle tasting and seasonal dish sampling prepared by ACC’s Culinary Arts students.
- Veggie stamping and coloring pages for children.
- A touch-a-truck experience featuring farm equipment (pending safety assessments).
- Bingo, a passport scavenger hunt, and track and field games.
- A chuck wagon demonstration to give attendees a taste of history.
- Special appearance by ACC’s mascot, RB the Riverbat
- Booths with interactive activities showcasing the ACC Elgin Campus programs and local businesses.
