Every fall, Austin Community College (ACC) proudly hosts General Assembly, a vibrant gathering that unites employees from all corners of the District. This event provides a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues, share insights, and engage in meaningful discussions about the college’s current initiatives and future goals.
This year’s General Assembly theme is “Loving Students to Success.” Attendees will hear from key leaders about the state of the College, celebrate our collective successes over the past year, and gain inspiration for the exciting projects ahead. Come ready to share in the camaraderie and enthusiasm that makes our ACC community so special.
Employees are encouraged to grab their cowboy hats and boots and mark their calendars for an experience reminiscent of the old Southwest.

To facilitate full participation, the District will be closed on the day of General Assembly 2024, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in this enriching experience without distractions.
All employees, except adjunct faculty, scheduled to work during the time of the event are required to attend. The event is optional for adjunct faculty. Part-time and hourly employees who are scheduled to work for only some of the hours of the event should work with their supervisors to determine their best option.
An RSVP is required for those attending to help plan for transportation needs, food, and other details. Visit this form to RSVP. The deadline is Wednesday, October 23.
Resource Fair and Pre-Show Slide Submissions
The General Assembly Resource Fair and pre-show slides are a great opportunity to promote information about your department or program.
The 2024 General Assembly Resource Fair will be held entirely online. We invite faculty- and staff-facing programs to submit materials for online showcasing. Maximize your impact by creating downloadable materials that share your information, as well as a QR code for a website, video, or app. Once created, upload your Resource Fair materials here.
To submit a pre-show slide, log into Google Drive using your ACC credentials and add your 16:9 formatted Google Slide from your computer into the file located here: “GA 2024: Add Your Preshow Slide Here.” Note: The order is not important as they will be organized prior to General Assembly.
The deadline to submit a pre-show slide and upload online Resource Fair materials is Wednesday, October 23.
