Request your free 2024-25 ACC wall calendar today! ACC’s Teaching and Learning Excellence Division (TLED) prints the calendar annually to inspire the faculty and staff to dive deep into higher education issues.
This year’s theme, “Empowering Students by Meeting Basic Needs,” focuses on 12 essential needs that impact the College’s employees, students, and community. Each month, the calendar highlights a specific essential resource, showcasing how ACC addresses these needs through innovative curriculum integration, supportive campus resources, and active community engagement.
This print calendar will highlight the following basic needs:
- School Supplies & Technology
- Transportation
- Food
- Clothing
- Health & Wellness
- Mental Health
- Financial Support
- Legal Assistance
- Child Care & Parenting Student Support
- Culture & Connection
- Textbooks
- Housing
In addition to highlighting the basic needs each month, TLED has collaborated with several areas of study, which are meeting basic needs within their department, to provide additional essential resources and support for students. These partners include the following academic areas:
- Agricultural Sciences
- Children’s Lab School
- Dental Hygiene
- Diagnostic Medical Imaging – Radiology
- Fashion Design
- Sonography
Discussing and addressing these basic needs across the College is essential for creating an educational environment where all students can succeed. The goal of this calendar is to inform those who work with students about these essential resources, allowing them to share directly with students and address these needs within their instruction.
ACC employees are now invited to request a print wall calendar. Calendar delivery will begin in late August.
