Riverbats who want to practice their language fluency skills are invited to join ACC’s weekly Spanish conversational group, Sazón y Amistad, starting this fall and running through the spring semester.
Sazón y Amistad
Meeting Days: Weekly on Thursdays starting August 29
Time: 1-2 p.m.
Location: Highland Campus Military Families Center, Building 4000, Room 4.2115
Led by ACC Adjunct Professor Marcel Pons Ventura, the group will build community and allow members to practice speaking Spanish in a real-world context to improve their confidence in communication.
Members will also delve into various aspects of Hispanic culture, including traditions, cuisine, music, and more. This will not only enrich understanding of the language but also foster appreciation and respect for diverse cultures.
All proficiency levels from beginner to fluent are welcome, and faculty, staff, students, and community members are invited to join.
