ACC’s Latin American Studies Center, El Centro, invites students, faculty, and staff to sign up for its spring 2024 book club. Registration is open through Friday, February 9.
The El Centro Book Club features book selections that highlight the Latinx/e experience and provide those books to eligible students and employees for free. Students, faculty, and staff are eligible for a free copy of the book, while supplies last, when they sign up for the book club.
This semester’s book selection is “Certain Dark Things,” by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. The book, from the author of the acclaimed novel “Mexican Gothic,” is a neo-noir vampire tale set in a dystopian Mexico City.

This semester’s book club will run from February 23 through April 26. In-person and virtual meeting options will be available.
