Submissions are now open for ACC’s 12th Annual Student Eco Bag Art Contest. The winning design will be printed on reusable tote bags to be displayed at each campus and sold for one year.

This year’s recommended design theme is “Planet v. Plastics” to match the global theme of Earth Day 2024.

Design entries will be pre-screened by an ACC committee and then presented to the ACC community for a vote on the winning design. The artist of the winning design will win a Kindle e-Reader, and the Honorable Mention will win a Timbuk2 Backpack.

The winner will be announced during Earth Week in April 2024.

To submit a design, you must be a student currently registered for a class at ACC. All submissions must be received by noon on Wednesday, January 31, to be considered.

Students may submit their designs HERE.

Last year’s winner, ‘Only One Earth,’ was designed by ACC student Sora Tran. View Sora’s and other previous winning designs here.

The contest is sponsored by ACC’s Office of Energy & Sustainability. For more information about the office and ACC’s environmental efforts, visit austincc.edu/sustainability.
