During this season of giving, Austin Community College District encourages the community to support student scholarships at ACC.
On Tuesday, November 28, the college and The ACC Foundation will join together to support the annual #GivingTuesday campaign. All donations made during Giving Tuesday will benefit ACC Foundation scholarships.
“Our Riverbat students are worthy of your investment! So, this Giving Tuesday, remember it’s not about how much you can give. Huge possibilities can grow from small beginnings, so give what you can,” says Amy Bawcom, ACC Foundation director.
This year, the ACC Foundation hopes to raise $15,000 for student scholarships during the annual day of giving.
Here’s what you can do to participate and share the word:
- Mark Your Calendar! Don’t forget the day to give. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 28. This is the official day of Giving Tuesday.
- Give! On #GivingTuesday you can make a monetary contribution directly to student scholarships. Visit the ACC Foundation webpage and click the Give Now button.
- Spread the Word! You can help others learn more about Giving Tuesday and opportunities to support student scholarships by following us on social media and sharing our posts. You can find us on Facebook, X, and Instagram.
