Most students work while attending ACC, and apprenticeships allow students to get experience working in their chosen career field. ACC hosts a series of events to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, November 13-19, 2023.
The following virtual and in-person Apprenticeship Week events are open to ACC faculty, staff, and students interested in learning more about ACC’s Earn and Learn programs.
Monday, November 13 | ACC Apprenticeship Open House
Students are encouraged to stop by the Apprenticeship information booths during this open house to learn all about the current and upcoming apprenticeship programs.
Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Wednesday, November 15 | Apprenticeship 101 Presentation
Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to join this online general Apprenticeship presentation on past, current, and upcoming Apprenticeship programs at ACC.

Thursday, November 16 | Veterinary Department Tour & Info Session
Students and employers are encouraged to drop in and learn how to be part of the growing Veterinary Assistant Apprenticeship Program.
Times:
3 – 4 p.m. – Open House and Tour
4 – 5 p.m. – Employer Info Session
5 – 6 p.m. – Student Info Session
