Austin Community College District (ACC) invites employees, students, and the community to celebrate Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, from Friday, October 27, to Friday, November 3. This celebration is represented in many cultures to honor and remember ancestors and those who have recently passed.

In support of culturally responsive teaching and learning, ACC’s Teaching and Learning Excellence Division (TLED), Latin American Cultural Center (El Centro), and Ascender Program have partnered to develop a Cultural Mosaic: Día de los Muertos. The series features in-person and online events and celebrations that feature the disciplines of culinary arts, photography, philosophy, religion, humanities, and more.
