The Austin Community College District (ACC) was recognized with the 2023 Corporation of the Year award by the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The annual award recognizes an organization that has made a lasting impact on Austin’s Hispanic community and has demonstrated exceptional commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion while achieving significant business success.
As a Hispanic-serving institution, ACC was chosen as an outstanding example of how organizations can positively impact the lives of the Hispanic community and demonstrate a strong track record of innovation, leadership, and social responsibility.
The college received the award at the Chamber’s annual Celebrando Gala on Saturday, October 7, 2023. ACC Trustee Dr. Manuel Gonzalez accepted the award on behalf of the college.
