Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, photographs by Austin artist Rojelio “Roj” Rodriguez have been on display in all 11 Student Life offices. On Thursday, October 12, ACC hosts a conversation to discuss Mexican culture through the eyes of the artist.
ACC students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend this free event. Lunch will be provided.
Mi Sangre: A Conversation with Rojelio Rodriguez

“Mi Sangre” is Rodriguez’s photo-documentation of a personal journey to retrace his Mexican heritage on both sides of the US–Mexico border. He will talk about this recent book, his inspiration, the meaning behind his work, and take questions from the audience. Observers also will be invited to share their insights and stories.
