While college can be a fun and exciting time, it can also be challenging to balance work, school, family, friends, extracurricular activities, and academics. To help students seeking to build a support network, ACC Mental Health Counseling launches I Love You, Bro: A Guy’s Mental Health Group.
I Love You, Bro will explore mental health topics including, but not limited to, masculinity, stress, relationships, anxiousness, sadness, goals, vulnerability, and self-esteem. This series of eight intentional gatherings will provide students with a place to talk and grow.
The group will meet online every Wednesday for eight weeks. The first group meeting is Wednesday, September 27, from 2-3:30 p.m.
I Love You, Bro is open to students currently enrolled in fall classes. The group is inclusive of BIPOC, transgender, intersex, gender-diverse, and cisgender men.
Students interested in signing up for I Love You, Bro may use the form below and indicate their interest in group counseling. They must include “I Love You, Bro” in the information box.
This group is led by Kenneth T. Luna M.S., LPC, NCC. All ACC Counselors are licensed professionals with Master’s and Doctoral degrees who have been trained to provide guidance and potential solutions to emotional and psychological difficulties.
