Austin Community College District (ACC) opened its doors on September 17, 1973, to 1,726 students. Today, we serve approximately  70,000 students each year. From these students and their families to ACC faculty, staff, founders, and partners, the college has made an impact on hundreds of thousands of lives. On our 50th Anniversary, we want to share those stories.

ACC launched the 50th Anniversary ACC Story Project to collect the voices and memories of those who have been impacted by the college’s work and mission. Everyone is invited to join the celebration by sharing their journey.
