ACC’s faculty and staff donated a total of $36,654 to various causes this year through the 2022 State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC), surpassing our total from last year.
Of the overall money donated, employees contributed $7,608 to the ACC Foundation which, when matched, will total over $15,000 for scholarships to our ACC students.
The campus that raised the most combined funds was Highland Campus with $9,205, followed by Hays Campus with $4,908 and Riverside with $4,037.
In addition, campuses raised additional funds through campus fundraising events and activities. Riverside, Elgin, San Gabriel, and Cypress Creek campuses were the top fundraisers, with the highest percentage of employees giving for this year.
This year’s “SECC Most Giving Campus” award goes to the following:
- Most Giving Campus – Payroll Deductions: Highland Campus
- Most Giving Campus – Percentage Giving: Elgin Campus
