For some students, October is when the mid-semester slump starts to hit, and their motivation may not be the same as when they began the semester. ACC’s Student Life and Career Services teams are here to help our students recharge and refocus. 

From October 17 to October 21, students can participate in Wellness Week with Student Life and Career Ready Week with Career Services to prepare for the second half of the semester. 

Career Ready Week is a week of specialized training and information sessions to help students reach their ultimate goal — career success. 

In addition to daily workshops and presentations from industry experts and employer partners, students may also take advantage of staff on hand (in-person and virtually) for resume review, job search assistance, and LinkedIn profile headshots. At the end of the week, students can put their new job skills to the test by attending a job fair.

Wellness Week is designed to help students feel stress-free heading into midterms. Events take place all week long at all campuses and include things like free food and beverages, DIY stress ball-making sessions, learning lab & tutoring workshops, games, exercise tips, and more.
