ACC faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the 2022 State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) to help support the Central Texas community. The campaign launched Saturday, October 1, and runs through Monday, October 31.

This year’s SECC goal is once again $50,000. Employees raised more than $42,000 in 2020 and more than $31,000 in 2021. This year, the college hopes to do even more.

SECC supports more than 1,000 local and statewide charitable organizations, including Capital IDEA, Central Texas Food Bank, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Habitat for Humanity, and more.

The SECC campaign is a convenient and efficient way to make voluntary contributions to charities directly through one-time payments or monthly payroll deductions.

WHERE TO GIVE

Employees may give to any approved cause(s) they choose. The 2022 Charity Guide Booklet includes all of the approved charities for the year, including the Austin Community College Foundation, which gives back directly to ACC students.

WAYS TO GIVE

  • Payroll Deduction – Make a payroll contribution of as little as $2 a month
  • Individual Donation – Make a one-time payment to the charity of your choice using your debit/credit card

Employees needing assistance may reach out to their designated SECC campus representative or email the collegewide campaign coordinator, Mauri Winters, at [email protected].
